Default Shelby American in Mustang, Oklahoma

I have taken the following text and pics from this link on bullittclub.com - http://www.imboc.com/phpBB/viewtopic...604&forum=46&6

Is anybody familiar with this place? Sounds like a great road trip for us someday - maybe on the way to or from Tulsa next year?

....While drving through Mustang, OK I pointed out a little yellow 67GT in front of a business. Mike then noticed the business is "Shelby American."

It was closed that evening, but as we pulled into the parking lot the next morning the owner drove up too. He was great to show us around. He restores and builds Shelby Cobras. He does not work on any of the kit cars.

Those aluminum Cobra bodies are manufactured by a company here in Utah, Kirkham Enterprises, for Shelby American. Kirkhams actually have them built in Poland in an old MIG factory. They used to be into Mustang restoration and are acquaintances of Mikes.
