620, I had to pull my bents (like a dummy, I put them on backwards!), and tried everything I could think of to do it without pulling the windshield, finally gave up, and spent less time pulling the windshield, reversing the vents and reinstalling than I had trying to avoid pulling the windshield.
My answer, I don't think it can be done, but pulling the windshield is a piece of cake. Have a buddy help, though!
