One location is obviously the top of the esses, a classic Glen shot. The other is turn 11, I believe, I don't remember a concrete patch in the off-camber. But since I was hangin on for dear life, I probably missed it. Joe was having problems all day Friday with what turned out to be his carb. The ratty ol' FE carb he replaced it with gave him new life. He missed the first session on Sat am with the swap. The second and third sessions, I tried to line up near him, but we just never connected and I wasn't gonna sit around waiting for him to catch up. There were race trucks and Porsche's to get. It's a big place, and you can run for days and never see a car that runs at similar speed. Others, you just run over them (or they over you!!) sometimes twice a session.

I think a set of Blue-Blocker glasses might be called for next year. They block out all the blue stuff (like the guard rails) don't they? If that's true, then I'll never see Joe in the mirror either, so thats good too.
