Unless you have an original there will always be someone who has some issue with the make of your Cobra. Even with original Cobras every one has their own preferences and opinions, small block vs big block for one. Oops shouldn't have brought that up again!. The great thing here is that there can be so much variety but at the same time such high quality and craftsmanship. I agree that due to the FFR ease of assembly, single donor and the pricing that there are probably more FFR's than others that are assembled without the care that most of us have taken with our cars. Affordability is one of the FFR strong points but is also one of the issues that has led to some of the bad opinions that people have with the FFR. Yes, I have seen more than a few FFR's with unfinished bodies, seams and all, badly painted roll bars and side pipes that are rusting. I would rather see a nicely finished car than one that was put on the road before it is truely finished, but don't forget that the owners/builders of these cars are Cobra junkies just like the rest of us and they would love to own your $100,000 Kirkham with sideoiler and toploader but for a lot of us that will just never happen. I like my FFR for what it is, affordable, lightweight, handles and brakes well and I can get parts just about anywhere. There are a lot of very nice FFR's on the road. I have entered shows with my FFR against ERA's and Superformance's and have beaten them. Don't take this the wrong way I'm not one of those FFR owners with a chip on the shoulder. I just want to see everybody continue to keep up the encouragement and help for those Cobra nuts that just don't have the same budget, ability or time as those of us who are a little more fortunate. By the way the reason that I spend time on this forum compared to the FFR forum is because of the variety you guys bring. I love the different characters and the wisdom and experience that is always there for the asking.
