The larger 3/4" OD fitting is used for the puke tank return. The forward 3/8" OD tube is used for the dip stick. Turns out this awkward location is ideal for the dip stick. Wedged between the block flange, water pump and alterntor. Use a Chevy dip stick for the Big Block.

George at Gessford will have one. Its a "cut and fit" installation. George used a brass compression fitting with nylon keepers inside (vs. the standard brass ring style) for a neat installation. Others use a piece of rubber hose and two clamps. This line narrowly misses the block and sticks up rear of the alternator. The dip stick bolt attaches to the water pump bolt, so fix the bracket first and then trim the length to fit.
