I would take the aluminum block and its better oiling over the steel block and its maybe, and I mean maybe, better longevity. Most motors that break, like over 80%, break because of oiling problems. By the time the aluminum block breaks, you will have had to thrash it unmercifully. Now, if you don't beat your motor constantly, the steel block is fine. If you don't believe me, ask Evan. Scott
