Lightbulb Thoughts on a paint job.

John - excellent plan - count me in as one of the grunts.

If I understand Joel's post, it appears that most of the major part components are gathered and ready for final assembly. There will always be a lot of trips to the parts store and the hardware store for belts, hoses, fittings, wire looms, bolts/nuts/washers, etc. The only possible "big ticket" item may be the cost for the body and paint work. Perhaps many of the $ offerings from around the country could be used for this. The FFR Forum posts from Joel's dad seemed to indicate that he was focusing on "Titanium w/no stripe". Perhaps the SPF "Titanium Frost" color would be something to look at.

Mastercraft is in the Desoto area and has excellent experience with street rods and Cobras and would be worth considering. My painter - Excalibur Collision (near Fairpark) did and excellent job for me this time last year on my Unique SilverCobra. If Joel/Jack decide to go with Excalibur, I would volunteer oversee the body/paint work for the car. I have e-mailed Jack and we will see what develops over the next few months.
