Another reason to try to get another club to set things up...most clubs are "driving school" events with instructors and event insurance. If we do it ourselves, we need to get some local instructors to help out. Even driving schools are encountering stiff resistance from individuals insurance companies for mishaps.
Generally, the rule is...Be Responsible for Yourself. don't put yourself in situations where you aren't comfortable (slow down, pull in, change run groups, BE AWARE)
Of course, the best way for small block cars to avoid mishaps is to get out of the way of the BIG BLOCK cars. lol
