Tony, isn't this fun? Your control arms are made by Speedway and the coilovers are made by Carrera. I had the same problem with mine, but I will have to look and see what I did. Next you will probably find out that the Carrera coilover shock and the spring is a little too short. I removed the shock mount plates and welded a new plate flush with the top of the spring pocket. Also made a 1/2 " spring spacer because I ran out of threads on the adjustment collar. I seem to remember I changed out the bearings in the shocks for 1/2" ones I got from Carrera. I don't like the steel sleeve bearings because they are noisy, so I used the Nylon ones. This sounds like a lot of trouble but really isn't. You will find out a lot of things are not going to just bolt-on this car like they should. Especially if you mix and match parts from different manufacturers like I did.
