To make a long story short I bought a cobra replica about a month ago. The previous owner did not know what company built the car and I am also unsure of the origin. Does anyone know or can give me direction as to how I might find out where this car came from. It is registered as a 1966 Shelby Cobra. Did the manufacturers somehow mark the car somewhere?

ANY help would be appreciated. I don't mean to be so vague in my description but thats all I have. It has Stewart-Warner gauges, a 302, 4 speed, a Ford nine inch, discs in front and drums in the rear.
