Think about what exactly you want to do with the car. I've had my FFR on the road for 3 years and while giving my wife a tour of the NHIS garages, she asked me why I don't race mine. I use my street car (a subaru) on the track. Well, that question sat in my head and I've decided to use the winter to prep the car for the track for next year. In my case, I only had $16k into the car to begin with and won't sell it or make it NASA legal....just run it in the local club that I now instruct in. I expect you could do the same with your car if you wanted to. It's very hard to price your car (I have no idea what's in it) but have seen a few for sale here in the Northeast that are not selling. Perhaps its the snow outside or the draw of building one instead of buying, but I'm seeing plenty of mid to low $20k cars sit unsold. Most of the sellers that I know are looking to build another car....coupe or GTV8.
