Provided you have the right amount of cash, you can easily get a streetable 400hp out of s 4.6L SOHC motor, and 500HP out of a 4.6L DOHC motor. Vortec makes a wonderful, almost fully complete supercharger kit for this purpose....Only things you really need to change after that is your injectors (while they say it does not need it, it does), and a better fuel delivery system (the kits come with a larger pump, but I believe that the stock lines should be upgraded at that time as well)..........
