I would prefer to use a switch than a button since, as I said, I would like to ba able to hold the car at a light. I have been considering using one of the "covered" switches. Less chance of flicking it on by accident.

I am installing a Biondo Line Lock and I believe that it states in the instructions that once it is "on" you can increase the pressure by pressing on the brake pedal again. Almost sounds like a sort of check valve. I have no idea if that is reason for worry. In any event, I am going to also install an "idiot light" to warn me when it is on.
