The "profit factor" as you suggest has got to be a major player in the numbersT

Turk, as for attaching the wiring harness I would consider what other english cars used for that. Seems to me Jaguar, for instance, used a metal with rubber grommet and a screw to secure the loom to the dash\firewall. I have no clue what the Cobras used, but I bet it was standard "Lucas" technology of the time. Shouldn't be "that hard" to duplicate. Glueing the loom sounds cool, that would be really clean, IF it would hold up in the long run.
