I personally don't want to do any more than we currently have planned. While the idea is a noble one, I feel this places a burden on our club "to perform" somewhere for a specific time, for a $. I want to be around " my fellow club members", not a bunch of other gawkers. When you inject money into the equation, the "fun factor" of our club drops off dramatically. We have members coming in from all over to be a part of what we have done in the past 3 years, and I just think this would be counter-productive at this point.
I doubt I would make the trip next year if we expand to include this type of idea into an informal club that requires no dues and has no written by-laws to govern us. I do not want the responsibility/liability if something goes wrong.
These are just my thoughts, but I also think trying to interject "new" ideas of any kind with only a month is a mistake!
