Consider the source...Most auction folks wouldn't know how to wire a tail light, let alone pull an engine or point out real quality. They read their program and talk.
This a great forum for our industry. We have tremendous experience to draw from and IMO we need to continue to drive up the quality in our industry.
I believe any "low image" is a direct relation from the low end market builders looking to make a fast buck on popular body styles. Impossible to police.
The key is to demand quality...Most of us have very large investments and quality is the key to hold this value up.
The reason the aluminum bodies are now finding favor is because of the large interest in quality. Who thinks an aluminum body replicator will surface trying to sell to the low end market? not likely. We are looking for quality and some are willing to pay.
All of us have seen the occasional "hack job" cobras out there and they need to be pointed out and dismissed as junk by all of us.
As builders, we should know the history, build quality into our car and the rest will take care of itself.
