Is that factory COMPLETED cars (of any make) will be required to meet current safety standards such as crumple zones, bumpers, (airbags ?) and such.
The temporary solution would be, (if all this is true) of course, to buy it as a turnkey MINUS, and put yer own motor in it. You could pay a local shop to do it if you were sly. Let's relax and see if this is true before we all jump off the deep end into an empty pool
