According to the NJ regs, "reconstructed vehicles" ( I think that's what they're called in NJ) are titled according to the year of the engine. That's one of the reasons I chose to go with a nice old BB.

So assuming you had no problems satisfying the 25 year age requirement, which would you register as- historic or collector?

Do you know if there are age restrictions on collector registration? For instance, can a 2002 titled vehicle be registered under the collector exception??
