When we made the roll bar visible, we did it by moving the bulkhead back, not by moving the roll bar forward. It actually allows the seat to go back further. (The footboxes were also lengthered, at around chassis 150. (Or was it 125...
)
The pedals are also adjustable fore and aft, although the clutch may require a different master cylinder.
