The mechanics of the site are generally complete. In kit terms, it would be accurate to say that we're almost at the go-cart stage. At the moment, we're waiting on "parts."

We're currently working on the ability to handle raffle ticket sales via secure credit card transactions. (DV has a friendly banker that is making their merchant services transaction engine available to the Fling.) We had a long discussion about cookies (I'll let you guess as to which kind.)

The site will be cool enough, but pales in comparison to the work DV is doing, the Fling itself or the cause it represents. For those of us involved in the site build, it's kind of like a kit build. Between the eventual launch and the event, it will be like the road trip where you hope that it holds together when you hit the potholes and speed bumps along the road.

As they say in the trades: "Watch this space!"
