I heard back from my buddy @ KEYE News in austin...here's what he said:

Thanks for the information. I put it in our files for that day.I do not see any reason why we cannot send a photographer out to get some video. I am also coping in the person that is working the Assignment Desk on that day to make sure everyone is in the loop.
