Regarding the "distributor plug"...I am currently also installing a Tec3 into a new engine build. MSD has come out with several distributor plugs with a built-in hall effect signal for the cam reference. This allows a smaller footprint distributor replacement to drive the
oil pump and provide a proper cam reference signal....
