Whatever the donor, it absolutely MUST have some iteration of the 4.6 l DOHC engine if it is to be successful.

The new Ford GT will have a DOHC all-aluminum version of this engine and if showing this one-donor vehicle off to today's generation, that's the only engine family that'll do.

Must, must have a DOHC modular Ford engine in the engine bay (leave room for the 427 V10?).
