Their reputation is about that of Lucas electrics. Unreliable ,inaccurate, etc. I have a full set 20+ years old and have never had any problems.

I think i heard somewhere that SPF uses a Smith look-alike.

In any case I think the Smiths bashing is about to start momentarily
