OK boys, how about this?
I just bought a pair of Motorola T6 400 Talkabout two-way radios, with rechargers, nicad battery packs, and two docking stations at Costco Friday night for $99.00( in addition to the two older battery powered ones I have). In the instruction manual, it states that channels 1-7 and 15-22 transmit at 1 watt, while 8-14 transmit at .5 watts. That being said, I thought we might want to pick a channel and code for our Austin outing now, so how about channel 7, code 7?
Any thoughts from the other radio owners? I will bring the my extra pair to loan to those that don't have a radio.
