Reporting from Connecticut:
Looking out my window at the Housatonic River, which is about 800 feet wide at low tide it is 95% iced over. Have never seen that. The tide is coming in, and up the sea wall, waiting to see if it crests the wall with this storm. Has not crested the wall in any storm since I have lived here. Doubt it will this time. It did not crest the wall during the huge Nor'easter of several years ago. (The storm that the book Perfect Storm is based on)
Very exciting nonetheless. I have my snowmobile ready (Dodge Ram 4x4) in case the wife decides to have the baby early. Now THAT would be exciting!
