Hi Rick,
I am running a mechanical flat tappet cam with Schubeck composite lifters in my aluminum 427. The Schubeck lifters allow my flat tappet cam to be ground with lobes very similar to a roller cam. I am running 200# seat pressure with over 500# open at .700" lift. My cam is 262/270 deg @.050 with .691"/.700" 112 lc
I like mechanical cams (adjusting valves) because it gives me a reason to pull the valve covers and inspect the rocker assys and valve springs. My motor will be built to rev to 7500 RPM which is beyond what most hydraulic lifters are capable of.
Talk to Comp Cams about your cam selection. They have ground several custom grinds for me and are quick and reliable.
With your supercharged motor I'd go with 114 deg. lobe centers installed at 110 deg centerline.
My intake is still in the building process but I will post photos when it is finished.

I would like to see a picture of your injected motor. I have a 501-533 cam which I like but want to go up to a 525-560. My pistons are not flycut for valve lift more than 560 lift. By your numbers, what is your cam set at? Thanks for the info. Rick Lake
