Since my previous post, I've replaced all the big ends in the engine (only rebuilt 350 miles ago but an
oil starvation problem at start-up) and it still knocks. It sounds like a proper "knock coming from the very centre of the engine (ie not the heads). I've ordered a new performer plus cam and followers but before I tear the engine down, how do I make sure thats definately the problem? Someone said to me it could be a stuck lifter, how to I tell or rectify that?
