Thanks for all the responses. What I haven't found anywhere is what's underneath the cap that connects to the filler tube or filler neck? I assume there is a 2.0-2.5" diameter tube that is connected by a coupling hose to the fuel cell fill tube. Any info on diameter, length and angle would help me determine whether I have clearance to do what I want to.

Is the connection part what Enzo sells as the "base adapter"?

Guess I should call Enzo with these questions!
