I was able to follow your descriptions quite well. Sounds like this could be a solution to my installation problems, assuming I keep the "pull-up" belts (which I probably will). Thanks for the valuable info!

As for the shoulder belts, Mine pass through the bulkhead (slightly below my shoulders) and back to one of the rollbar kickback support bolts (Grade 8). This creates a relatively "flat" attitude for the belt because the support bolt is so high on the chassis. On the passenger side, Unique has a mirror-image matching bracket for the passenger's shoulder belt anchor.

My anchors are not the T-type like you described above. They're more like a big fat triangle, which means a portion of the belt material will pass through the fiberglass floor. This fact concerns me slightly (road debris could damage belt material, etc.) I'd almost prefer a tall "T" like you've described.
