I'm not sure I can replace the triangle anchors with T anchors. The belt runs through the anchor and is doubled back onto itself and sewed together. Changing the anchor would require unstitching the threads, replacing the achor, and re-sewing the belt. Doing so would undoubtedly weaken the belt.
Unless there's a solution I'm not seeing here.
