An aquaintance of mine has one of those rortin' snortin' 427 Stingray "Vettes. I am not sure of the date (1967-69?), It is two-tone: silver and black. In any case, he really enjoys ripping around in it (who wouldn't?
) and experimenting with suspension settings, wheels and tires. Here's the odd thing, he has a little gizmo which he swears by: it's called (something like) a Competition g-Meter. I think I found it on Page 141 (top, center) in the Jan/Feb JEG'S.
Is this thing for real? The "910-GT-COMP" seems to good to be true. Does any of you know about (or better yet) own one of these things? Sounds like a truly terrific toy! I would appreciate input from you more experienced compet. drivers or tech whizzos.
