RacerX #99 is correct. Somerset County Votech is a good operation. I took the two year autobody night course back in 89/90 instructor was Ray Essler. Was a good course. You were permitted to bring projects into the class to work on. My son totaled his "83 Monte Carlo.which became my project. I kept the salvage and fixed the car which involved installing a whole front clip (sheet metal) then preped the whole car and painted it. They had a great downdraft spray booth with heat.(boy did that dry it nice). Supplied my own paint from Auto supplier in Somerville. Did the whole job right -- sealer primer finished with a base coat clear coat from Dupont. No summer classes but was a good experience. My ERA was painted in New Britian area at shop recommended by ERA. I would not paint a car without a booth because of the dust contamination. Overspray in a garage can be reduced by using the HVLP guns/spray systems. Good luck with your paint job.
