Perry, no doubt your suggestions are spot on. I have never quite figured out just why I built so much power into my little hot rod, other than the typical male response of "why not?". I don't plan on ever taking the car out for track time and would just like to hit the drag strip a few times to see how well the 4 1/2 #s per HP performs. (if I ever get around to finish plumbing the nitrous set up, that ratio will drop to 3 1/2 #s, I'm not much of a moderate). I know that it only takes one time to have a severe "oops" but I'm such a fatalist that I think that when it's my time to buy the farm, its going to happen regardless of what I do. Until that time, I'll just keep getting the groceries for "She Who Must Be Obeyed". Karlos
