I tell you what, I'd really like to see a close-up photo of the stitching of a GENUINE 60s 427 "street" seat..... (It must be the original / unrestored stitching - I want to see some patina as proof !!!!)

What you're saying makes sense, I couldn't imagine that they would have used clear plastic. Thanks for the info! Are you coming to the Fling this year, or will we have to visit you at SAI again?
