A lot of the stuff you see for sale is ok. But you better be VERY careful with cranks, rods, pistons, cams, lifters, rockers, etc. They do try some off the wall stuff to try to get an edge and if it doesn't work it hits the used market. AN fittings, hose, some drive line parts, belts, pumps, etc. should be OK.
