nope ,did some quick research ,and you are correct, the PI and the CJ Both had the bigger main support,caps, and reinforcing webs.

The prices ive seen for CJ blocks ($4500 or so )would tend to get me to move up to a 427, or save $4to $6k and build your 428 .Thats plenty of Motor for the street.
