Default It's just time and money!

If you take the time to uniformly bring down the edge of the glass to a sheetmetal thickness combined with the tube and rivets. Another trick is a little aluminium coloured paint on its underside. The thing I've found is you need a body from a real multipart mould with rollovers on panel and dash edges. That makes them smoother, safer, stronger etc as well as being able to tuck the tube inside. The CSX I just got from Steve has an eight piece mould, and with all that they line up a treat from panel to panel. The "other brand" parked beside it pales severely by comparison.
