My SW fuel gauge is not registering any fuel in the tank. The needle moves when turned on, from 1/4 to empty. I have removed the back trunk panel to access the sending unit, but can't seem to get to it to find out if the unit is ok or it is the gauge. Any help would be appriciated. I know this may follow the earlyer thread about Smith gauges VS other brands, and if that is the case about replacing the guages, why use them in the first place? Just a question from a new owner. Thank you in advance.

PS thanks for the manuel, I have used it several times so far, but I could use the wireing harness diagram also, since I got nothing with the car.
