I have just made a Glove box knob out of brass from pictures, model #2 after not leaving enough meat for a 3/16" fastener!
This knob measures 2" long, just over 1/2" deep, it appears to look smaller than pictures from the Super profile book etc

I would love to know how long and deep plus distance from Glove box lid is this knob?

If necessary I may have to buy one, or just fit a lockable catch like a lot of cars have!
