That is the dohc motor. Correctomungo.
The stock rods are the cracked powder rods. I'm under the impression that the factory rods are made by taking powdered metal and compressing it into the rod shape, machining the rod, then literally breaking the rod at the crank journal. They are not as strong as the eagles. Pistons were replaced to handle the boost. I believe we left the compression at the factory rate.

Uh, we'll just go ahead and powder coat the car. Still working on the color.
