Thanks for the info. I am using the correct Lucas toggle switch My wipers park correctly. The arc of the wiper arm travel is to short for the Cobra's windshield. I need to modify the crankpin location as per Bob's instructions. Seems pretty streight foward.

If you are using the GM column switch to operate the wiper motor, 2 relays must be incorperated to get it to park per the Lucas design. The interacion of the Lucas switch and the cam operated switch in the motor create a magnetic brake which haults the motor before it can get past the cam on the gear.( it grounds the normally powered side of the motor's winding) I have seen wipers work O.K. when not wired for the brake, but also have seem them skip over the cam. When wired per the original design, you can really hear the motor come to a screaching hault.
