Road and Race Transmission
Thanks Guys
Cal metal:
The reply makes good sense regarding Jerico's, I used a Seanz dog box on the road for a while, I have been told some of these transmissions dont last that well and can be prone to chipping the gears when doing ponderous shifting on the road, and the novelty of the gear noise would wear off.

The Richmond would seem to be a better option than the Tremec with the 1.1 top gear, I am wondering whether I should get another Toploader as some of the 5 speeds have such a low first gear they are virtually the same as a 4 speed, but I guess its the gear sort of between 2nd and 3rd that needs the gap filling in the toploader, especially on tighter course!
It may be obvious use a road box for road a little racing, and a race box.......
Are there any other transmissions that are worth looking at, with a nice shift etc in the 5 speed realm?
