As long as an engine has hard valve seats, there is no need for leaded fuel. Unleaded will actually make a tiny bit more hp on the dyno.

Look around for "Turbo Blue". I found it at a self-serve gas station in Evansville, IN in 1998. I'm sure it's in the mid Wisconsin area too. If not, it's bound to be in the Chicago suburbs. It was 110 octane. Smells great going into the tank (kind of sweet) and even better when it burns. My 427 really liked the stuff.

Any engine with 10.5 CR or higher should use either a mix of race fuel and pump gas or an octane booster.
