Thanks, Ron, for the help on the pics. Well...not exactly Shelby's but I needed a teaser for the title.
#1 is an early Holman/Moody drag car driven by Paul Norris. This was one of the first ten Mustangs shipped by Ford to H/M. Very little of the original car was left by the time H/M did the conversion to drag specs.
#2 Ford employee, Dick Brannon sits in one of the first "altered" Mustang drag cars. Every weekend Brannon would ask H/M to move the front wheels forwrd, then the rear wheels forward, then the fronts again. I believe this one of the first SOHC "cammer" engines.
#3 The famous Tasca Ford Funny Car driven by Bill Lawton and campaigned out of the Tasca Ford dealership of E. Providence, Rhode Island.
#4 One of the early H/M Mustangs driven by Phil Bonner. This car was basically stock with a steel body and stock wheelbase.
