Default 427 Sideoiler
I am relatively new to this forum but would like an answer to a question that may seem that of a novice. What constitutes a 427 sideoiler? What is the difference between a sideoiler andf the other 427's?

My SPF 1649 is coming within next two weeks and I ordered a 351W/427 stroker small block but was curious as to what really makes a 427 sideoiler big block. Any help appreciated.
