Thanks for the information. I do indeed have a Scat crank (cast steel they call it). No problem balancing it, I have my own balancer. However after reading the above perhaps I should be thinking farther ahead. What type of trans, what bell housing, and finally, what flywheel. At this time I am strongly considering an aluminium flywheel. What bell housings / transmissions are most of you using?
