I am not aware of the ability to race tha Historics at Monterey.
With what sanctioning racing organization?
Do you get to race against the CSX 2000 & CSX 3000 series?
I was always told no, never, it's a new car. Go race open track or with the replica's and modified late models which placed me amongst a great range of cars with many valued at under $20,000.
