How about those linen cones that were dipped in wax to form a funnel, placed in your ear and lit. Supposedly it caused the ear wax to melt and would clear your head.....especially if it was burning too close to your hair!
Or honey, lemon and vinegar for a sore throat? Do you remember the name of that horrible licorice tasting medicine that your mom gave you when you had an upset stomach?....."Paragoric"
How about back in the 60's when everyone wore a Maltese Cross because it was cool. Or Madras bleeding shirts with "fairy" loops on the back? Never figured out what function they had other than having your buddies yank them off. What about "high boy collars" on shirts and suede shoes!
I think I just aged another 15 years after recalling all of this!
