Engines to avoid section:
A nice turbo charger on a one of them "hot" Pinto 4 bangers? Then there was the VW powered model. ANYTHNG with a "bow tie" on it!

Engines to choose from section:
A 302 or 351 built to 400 horse. I think 400 is just about the perfect number. Never was a 429-460 fan. Those Shelby alum 427's pretty much take care of any "weight" issues. For looks? Can't beat a big block! For perfomance? Alum 427 just as good as anything else out there.
